Bus Driver Appreciation Day

On the 18^th of March, Winchester school joined together to celebrate the contributions of our hardworking school drivers, who safely maneuver a large vehicle through unpredictable traffic, adverse weather condition and some really tight spaces. The year 4 students too appreciated the endless effort of these daring heroes by designing a THANK YOU! Card and handing it over to the person who takes the responsibility of dropping each child safely to their abode. The students expressed their gratitude by honest and heartwarming messages like- Thanks for keeping us moving! , I know I am safe when I am with you!, It takes a special person to drive a school bus and many more.. The smile and the shine on the bus uncle’s faces when they received the card was mesmerizing and heart touching. This act of gratitude will surely develop a feeling of compassion in our young children’s minds as well as their hearts.
