The students of year 4 hosted a Math Day for their parents. The theme was THE ROMAN ERA therefore an essence of it was seen everywhere around. There were four different activities planned namely ‘Conversor Numeros Romanos’, ‘Roman Shopping Festival’, ‘Multiple Mania’ and ‘Creative Junction’. Parents had come in and enjoyed these activities with their enthusiastic children leading them. Also it was a great opportunity for parents to get a comprehensive idea of how we go about teaching math in our classes.. Our children made it more realistic by dressing up beautifully as Romans.
Parents were much delighted to see confident learners leading the
activities and found clarity in strategies used in school to teach Math.
