THEATRICAL PERFORMANCE

An adaptation of the Arabian Nights tale of "Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp" was a sheer thrilling performance which has created an impact on the minds of the year 4 students.

The bright, vibrant colours and the traditional markets of Arabia came alive on the 24th of September at the Winchester School, FS Area. This fun filled and entertaining show also left the year 4’s with a Life Learning message of ‘Being good and staying positive in life’, which indeed helps you achieve the unexpected. They also enhanced their knowledge on how a drama takes place, the importance of characters, their setting, costumes, props music and lights. Drama comes alive with the use of expressions which the characters depicted very well.

The Arabian background and the glittering costumes set the children’s mood for the play. The play ended when children sang and danced to the tune. “I’m happy” along with the team. It was a great opportunity for the children to see such vibrant costumes, props and characters. Children loved all aspects of the theatre. The children enjoyed it from start to finish.
