Elocution Competition in Year 4

Poetry is the rhythmical creation of beauty in words.

 -Edgar Allan Poe

On 26th January 2015 the Elocution Competition for year 4 was held at The Winchester School. Days of rehearsal were instrumental in making participants feel confident and ready for the final day. The students were filled with imagination, excitement and enthusiasm to share poems they had chosen and memorized with the audience and the judges.
There were 30 participants from the whole year group, 3 from each section. The students recited their poem with great finesse enthusiasm and clarity, not forgetting appropriate facial expressions and voice modulation,

The students of year 4 as audience were orderly and disciplined as they watched and heard their friends come up and perform their poem in front of 3 judges and all the others present there.

The anchors did a wonderful job!!!!!

The winners of the competition are:

Vadim : 4I

Tiah: Year 4E

Brett : Year 4A
