Earth Day is an annual event celebrated on April 22. A
variety of events worldwide are held to demonstrate support towards protection
and saving the earth. The students of Year 4 were encouraged to discuss the
protection of our Earth. Bringing Earth Day into the classroom allowed students
to explore the purpose and significance of the day and raised their awareness
on environmental issues.As Earth Day encompasses a wide variety of environmental activities and issues, from recycling to pollution to energy conservation, it was so amazing to see our children putting these together on their mini posters including messages and pledges.
